Dear Naomi
I heard your short story "Dirty & Unclean" on radio yesterday and was enraptured. As a child of a Jewish father and C of E mother living in Hampstead Garden Suburb in the 1950s with religious grandparents in Willesden Green I understood all the subtext. I would love to have a copy of it but have searched in vain for it on the internet. Is it part of a collection available anywhere?

I am writing to say thank you for such a great book, it was a nice surprise. I picked Disobedience up at the local bookstore and I am enjoying it. I live in Seattle, Washington and commute into the city for work by bus. A couple of times I have almost missed my stop, because I was engrossed in the book. I love a book that makes me sit back and contemplate a passage or idea expressed by an author, your book does that. I am coming to the end of Disobedience and I will be forced to grieve the end of a good book.
